Book Club for Teens
By Senka Lazarevic Reynolds - Club Leader
Club Experience
During the weekly Book Club meetings, students meet with teachers to dive deeper into what they have read. With their help, students gain a broader perspective and are guided through complex questions and engaging activities in response to their assigned reading material. Each month we select a special theme for the Book Club.
Schedule
* Europe / Asia Meetup: Mondays at 12 pm GMT
* America Meetup: Mondays at 11 am PST
Learning Goals
Help students increase their reading abilities, understand and express their own identity, providing more awareness of their own perspective.
About the Club Teacher
Senka started history studies back in 2003, and shortly after graduation she started working as a history teacher in elementary school, and later in high school.
She is passionate about working with students of different ages, about encouraging them and sparking up the conversation about all the different topics in order to help them express their opinion without a fear of being wrong. She always wanted to be the teacher that she wished she had during her educational journey. She firmly believes in lifelong learning.
Time Required
