VR Club

The VR Club will meet weekly in virtual reality to discuss apps we have tried, learn new skills, work on VR challenges, play games together in VR and get to know each other.

Club Experience

The VR Club will meet weekly in virtual reality to discuss apps we have tried, learn new skills, work on VR challenges, play games together in VR and get to know each other.

Schedule

* Fridays at 11 AM and 12 PM PST
* Saturdays at 9.00 AM SGT

Learning Goals

We will be familiarizing ourselves with VR equipment and learning the best ways to take care of it. Another goal will be to become familiar with a wide variety of educational and entertainment apps. Students in the VR Club will also be introduced to the game creation, coding and 3D modelling capabilities of VR.

About the Club Teacher

Glenn Kachmar has been an elementary school teacher for twenty-four years and his specialties are technology and science. He lives in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Time Required

The VR Club is a 50 minute activity. It may happen that we continue past the allocated time if and when students do not have any classes after VR Club. Contact Glenn if you need extra support, especially as you are becoming familiar with VR.
