Each week in this nanodegree, you will take on real challenges and digital dilemmas by playing choose-your-own-adventure games, giving you the skills you need to succeed as digital learners, leaders, and global citizens.

All citizens need digital citizenship skills to participate fully in their communities and make smart choices online and in life.

The internet is a very powerful place to explore, connect, create, and learn in ways never imagined before. With this power comes ethical dilemmas and challenging issues, such as cyberbullying, hate speech, privacy violations, digital distractions.

Each week in this nanodegree, you will take on real challenges and digital dilemmas by playing choose-your-own-adventure games, giving you the skills you need to succeed as digital learners, leaders, and global citizens.

Together we will learn how to navigate the world of digital communication and become Digital Citizens of tomorrow.

During weeks 1, 2, and 3 everyone will work in collaborative groups in critical thinking GAMES to learn about responsible use of technology.

Week 1: Media Balance and Well-Being

Week 2: Privacy, Security, and Digital Footprint

Week 3: Online Relationships, and Cyberbullying

Week 4: Final Presentation

** The final presentation will implement a review of the skills learned and using student’s choice of media to share digital citizenship methods for global citizens at Galileo.**
