Robotics
In this nanodegree, we will explore what goes into creating a robot from the ground up; everything from the smallest parts that go into a robot to the design process, build, and testing phases.
Using online simulators, we will experiment with circuitry and wiring, learn and test programmable microcontrollers with robot components such as lights and motors, and finally, build and program a robot to overcome various challenges.
Here are our weekly topics:
Week 1: Circuits and Conductivity
Week 2: Robot Components and Microcontrollers
Week 3: Robot Design Process and Build Time
Week 4: Final Presentation
** The final presentation will be a demonstration of your simulated robot solving a challenge.**
Since this is a robotics nanodegree, we will be doing very basic programming only relevant to these projects: no programming experience is needed and I will provide you with code to plug in if necessary. If you do have some programming experience, this will be a fun opportunity to apply those skills to new projects!
