Galileo Etiquette

In order to successfully work towards our mission, we ask all students to respect the guidelines that have been set by our teachers.

Be Kind and Courteous

We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.

No Hate Speech or Bullying

Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and disrespectful comments will not be tolerated.

Respect Everyone

Being part of this community requires mutual trust. What's shared in the Galileo Community should stay in the community.

Galileo Classes Guidelines

Practice online courtesy such as: draw on the screen when asked, speak in turn and wait for others to finish speaking. Everyone can see your actions. Be respectful so we can all have fun.

Parent Guidelines

Online learning is a new experience for parents and students alike. Here are a few guidelines to keep the Galileo classes running smoothly:

Students should be ready 5 minutes before the class time with camera and microphone off while they wait, this will allow any technical issues to be solved and meetings to start on time.

Behavior will be directed by the teacher.

Siblings should attend in different rooms and with doors closed as echoes can be very distracting on Zoom.

We ask that students attend meetings and book club events individually, the teacher will assist if necessary.
