Susanne is an entrepreneur and investor in the field of climate change. Susanne loves nature and all its species and enjoys working with high-delivering teams who take the time for a good laugh or two.
Susanne believes in markets and technology’s power alongside democratic values and personal responsibility to solve our time’s challenges. Climate change is one of the most pressing issues of the more comprehensive sustainability agenda that needs to be better integrated within corporate strategies and operations.
Susanne has always focused on reducing artificial greenhouse gases and worked extensively with project developers in Rwanda, Tanzania, India, Brazil, South Africa, China, Malaysia, and many more. Susanne has also worked with new technologies such as CO2 capture and storage for the OECD and has been amongst the first UN-accredited verifiers for renewable energy projects. Susanne is a shareholder at Tricorona, a significant investor in the UN’s climate change market mechanisms and large-scale renewable energy projects. Tricorona has won numerous awards. Susanne holds an executive MBA and started her career working for the UN and the largest multinationals to put a price on greenhouse gases and help regulators and companies make better choices. Susanne is a Swiss national and speaks seven languages. Susanne gets things done and likes to have fun. Other essential parts of Susanne’s life and interests are sailing, bodyboarding, reading, and hiking.
